EPSRC Future Composites Manufacturing Research Hub/IDC Open Day
Date and time
Location
The Advanced Manufacturing Building
University of Nottingham Jubilee Campus Nottingham NG7 2GX United KingdomDescription
Date: Tuesday 10 July 2018
Venue: Advanced Manufacturing Building, University of Nottingham Jubilee Campus, 522 Derby Road, Nottingham NG7 2GX (no 59 on the Jubilee Campus Map)
This free-to-attend event celebrates the first complete year of the Hub and the continuing success of the IDC. The Open Day will precede the 11th International Conference on Manufacturing of Advanced Composites (ICMAC 2018) at the University of Nottingham. Highlights of the Open Day include two industry keynote speakers and technical presentations from all research projects currently funded by the Hub. For students, there will be quick-fire “elevator pitches” with the current IDC cohort, and a poster competition. Q&A sessions will provide opportunities for you to network and discuss your research interests with us. You will discover how you can engage further with the Hub, including the support we require to continue our development and expansion.
Drinks Reception: The Open Day is followed by a Drinks Reception held in the Advanced Manufacturing Building Foyer from 4.30pm-6pm. Please indicate on the questionnaire during registration if you will be joining us.
For travel information and maps please see the University of Nottingham visitor information web page
Please note that registration for the Open Day does not cover attendance at ICMAC. If you would also like to attend ICMAC, registration and payment can be made via the IOM3 website: www.icmac2018.org
